Safeguarding & Inclusion

Ian Berry acts for the Diocese of Guildford to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding are maintained for all children and adults. A priority for us is promotion of good practice in safeguarding, ensuring an appropriate pastoral and professional response to concerns and issues. Ian has a background in Child Protection, and since 2005 has been directly involved in the safeguarding of children and young people.

Ian is available for immediate advice relating to:

• any church member informing a vicar or rector that they/someone else has a history of offending
• any invitations to attend MAPPA meetings or place a released offender in church
• concerns about the behaviour or conduct of someone in a church

Mary Morris at Willow Grange provides CRB checks for clergy
